Biography
Dr Sagar Torasakar (1986, Wai, India) is an Indian model, poet, writer and medical/allopathic doctor. Dr Sagar started his career in fashion after he took a modeling training at Glamour Institute Pune in late 2019. He took nick name as ‘meersagar_12’ on insta and soon got popular. ‘Meer’ is a German word meaning by ocean which is the meaning of his name ‘Sagar’ from Sanskrit language.
In November 2020, he did his first runway show in Lonavala Mahrashtra, walking for Runwayheist.
He got opportunity to portrait himself for many international e-commerce products as brand ambassador and there was no looking back for Dr. Sagar after doing photoshoot for these products. His many photos are published in many magazines like Isabella, Top Poster, Marika,Justbe. His achievements are product of his aura influencing younger ones pacing with perfection in the look and beautiful expressions, which any hiring agency possibly demand.
In October 2021, he won Mr. Maharshtra 2021 1st runner up award and Mr. Best Smile Maharashtra 2021 Sub-title Award at State level competition organized by Taj event and production. Winning that contest was covered in many news media in his State. He is eager to conquer the modelling world internationally with his growing experience.
His poetry, writings gives reflection of his creative soul. To create social awareness on various medical, fashion related and educational topics, he also hosts interviews on Instagram named: Caffeine Surge a Talk show with Meersagar.
